LOWL frequencies and synodic splitting coefficients (Schou et al., ApJ 433, 389)
+ correction using gaussian fit
The LOWL parameter datasets are ascii files and are stored with the
following format:
Listings have the following columns:
n, l, frequency, sigma_frequency
a1, a2,...a_10
sigma_a1, sigma_a2,...sigma_a_10
The abbreviations used are:
l: degree of mode
n: order of mode
\nu: Frequency of mode in micro Hz
a_i: a-coefficients in nHz. The polynomials used are those from Schou
et al., ApJ, 433, 389 (1994). These are synodic splittings. So, 31.7nHz
will need to be added to a_1.
sigma(something): The estimated standard deviation of something.
>>>> NOTE: A standard deviation of 0 means that something has not been
determined.
